Hard Dope formats the ballistic data you upload onto a printable card. It does not calculate, verify, or endorse any ballistic solution, and it is not a substitute for your own ballistic solver, chronograph data, or field verification.

Always confirm the numbers on your generated card match your solver's output before relying on it — especially in a hunting or shooting context, where an error in an elevation or windage hold can affect safety and shot placement.

Hard Dope is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and is not liable for any damages, injury, or loss resulting from the use of a generated card.

Using Hard Dope. By uploading a file and using Hard Dope, you agree to these terms. No account or sign-up is required.

The service. Hard Dope converts a ballistic data file you upload (CSV or PDF) into a printable 5x3″ DOPE card. Uploaded files must be under 1MB and in a format Hard Dope can read.

Rate limits. Usage is capped — currently 5 card generations per day — to keep the service available for everyone. We may adjust or enforce these limits without notice.

Acceptable use. Don't upload files you don't have the right to use, attempt to overload or abuse the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Your content. You keep ownership of the ballistic data you upload. You grant Hard Dope a limited license to process that data solely to generate your card — see the Privacy Policy below for how it's handled.

No warranty; limitation of liability. See the Disclaimer above. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hard Dope's liability arising from your use of the service is limited.

Changes. These terms may be updated from time to time; continuing to use Hard Dope after a change means you accept the update.

No accounts. Hard Dope doesn't require sign-up, so we don't collect names, emails, or passwords.

The file you upload. Your ballistic data is processed to generate your card, then discarded — we don't save a copy of your file or the card it produces on our servers.

IP address. Your IP address is used briefly to enforce the daily rate limit and prevent abuse, and appears in standard request logs kept by our hosting providers. We don't use it to build a profile of you.

Cookies & analytics. Hard Dope uses Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic — things like pages viewed and general usage patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We don't run any other third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't use Google Analytics data to identify you personally.

Sharing. We don't sell or share your data with third parties.

Children. Hard Dope isn't directed at children under 13.
